Like most people, you may be concerned about being "normal." However, "normal" is not narrowly defined. It covers a wide range of behavior, thoughts and emotions.
Some people may have behavior at one end of a normal spectrum. If you are at the other end of the spectrum, you may mistakenly brand these people as "crazy" or "weird." Likewise, they may do the same to you.
However, if you knew more about them — what led to their behavior — they may not seem so crazy after all. Psychology is a science that tries to find the reasons behind the behavior of people — people like you and me.
